Are smaller teams better teams? Does basketball display better teamwork than, say, football? Football is fun. It has 11 team members, and the team dynamics can be quite exciting. Often, though, it's the teams within teams that catch the audience's imagination. Brazil's strike trio of the three 'R's, for example. Basketball's fans, however, have a point. It's typically all five who need to be in telepathic action all the time---and this gives the game that extra adrenalin shot. Also, that extra bit of unpredictability on just who it is who'll score that within-seconds equalizer. It makes for extra bounce. Yet, the actual size of the team probably makes no big difference to the team dynamics, overall. All sorts of teams can acquire bounce, though not all have the resilience of a rubber ball---the harder it's hit, the higher it goes.
