LEADERSHIP SECRETS
Harness The Power Of
TechnologyBy Manoj

Leadership is continuum of behaviour
and performance. To become a successful leader, one needs to generate,
nurture, and sustain outstanding performance in oneself, and in others.
Today's business environment demands a dynamic leader, someone who has the
ability to create, destroy, and re-create. The ability and mindset to
drive change by destroying what one has created, and then creating a more
scalable edifice is the cornerstone of success. In many ways, leadership
is like whitewater-rafting. And to evolve as a great leader, you must
allow your head to rule over your heart.
The potential for excellence in people cannot
be measured easily. I see my team as not what they are, but as what they
czan be. As their leader, I feel it is my responsibility to help them
achieve their innate potential. It is important to be a role model for the
team, and to build trust. Leaders have to lead from the front. A leader
must assume the role of a mentor and ensure that the team learns from his
experience and skills. The hallmark of great corporate leaders has been
their ability to inspire those around them to achieve what is seemingly
impossible; to motivate them to go beyond the call of duty; and to help
them win-both as individuals and as a team.
Modern technology has made human interaction
across disparate locations more interactive, and efficient. The internet
has changed the way we work, live, and learn. Harness the power of
technology. The ability to fully utilise the potential of the internet is
what winning in the new economy is all about.
