You assume the role of John Mullins, a military consultant working for the top secret, anti-terrorist group known as The Shop. You're on an assignment to stop a bloodthirsty terrorist organisation that threatens to unleash a deadly virus on the populace and must tackle a wide-range of missions from hostage rescue and intelligence gathering, to search-and-destroy. You can choose to have random missions generated with unique goals and objectives with no two missions ever being the same. This game has over 60 missions.

SPIDER-MAN--THE MOVIE
If you've watched the movie and still haven't had enough, here's some more sumptuous Spiderman stuff. Gamers can swing through 34 action-packed levels-police chases, all-out brawls with lizard men, and stealth missions. Gamers battle through familiar Spider-Man movie localations including, the Daily Bugle and Times Square. Voices for the game are given by the Spider Man movie stars Toby McGuire and William Dafoe.

FIFA WORLD CUP 2002
It's the flavour of the season and, EA, a game publisher that specialises in sports gaming, is cashing in on the fever. You can choose any of the 32 teams featuring in the football World Cup or pick any country of your choice. (You can even pit India against Brazil) or go in for a dream team. Has astounding graphics, great intuitive gameplay and commentary in eight languages, but the slow frame rate earns it a yellow card.

CRIMSON SKIES
This is a world of gutsy pilots and high adventure set in the 1930's. The Great Depression has struck and there are no means of transportation left. You just have a sputtering little plane at your disposal. Here, survival means gripping the flight stick of a plane and letting your guns do the talking against an army of pirates. A band of merry men and women known as the Fortune Hunters fly over 24 missions to defend justice and honour.

AGE OF EMPIRES II: CONQUERORS
A highly acclaimed strategy game with a sense of history that could do the History Channel proud. One can choose to be part of a particular civilization-from Japanese to the Franks, the Britons to Byzantines, the Mongols to the Aztecs, and the Huns to Teutons. Game play starts in the Dark Ages and one can continue to advance to the Feudal Age and finally to the Imperial Age where territorial expansion the only objective.
